Small acts of kindness really can brighten someone else’s day, and it’s proven that doing good is tied to our own wellness too! Showing generosity has been proven to make us feel happier, calmer, and less stressed. It can even improve physical health! Best of all, it doesn’t take much to make a difference.

Donating to Goodwill provides an easy way to make a difference. In preparation for Random Acts of Kindness Day, take a walk through your house and gather up anything that you don’t use. Closets, kitchens, and storage areas are the perfect places to start! Then, donate your gently-used clothing, household goods, and more to your nearest Goodwill donation location. It’s that simple!

If you want to take your donation one step further, consider donating a vehicle to Goodwill! Your generous donation will be auctioned at our weekly public Goodwill’s Auto Auction. Because the Goodwill Auto Auction is run completely in-house, the proceeds stay in the Greater Cincinnati area and make a difference in your community!

Ohio Valley Goodwill accepts donated cars, boats, motorcycles, RVs, and more “” and we’ve made it quick and easy to donate. Bring your car donation to one of our donation drop sites or arrange a tow free of charge. When you choose Goodwill’s car donation program, your act of kindness is easy and uncomplicated, and will make a huge impact on the lives of others!

One Simple Act, Lives Changed Forever

The kindness you show by donating to Ohio Valley Goodwill translates into vital programs and services for people who need a helping hand in life.
