Sharonville Kiwanis Visits Goodwill Industries

Ohio Valley Goodwill was delighted to be the host location for the weekly meeting for the Sharonville Kiwanis group on Wednesday, August 12, 2009. Members of the group were pleased to meet at Goodwill for lunch and an extensive tour of the facility. Even though most members of the group have lived in the nearby community most of their lives, many have never had the opportunity to see first-hand how Goodwill serves the vocational needs of individuals with disabilities. ” The group was amazed at how many vocational and job services that Goodwill offers and the number of individuals the organization assists each year,” said George Palmer, Goodwill’s Director of PR and Marketing. Goodwill was happy to have the group visit the facility and learn more about the organization.
