The second session welcomed once again a full capacity audience that enjoyed the speakers as well as the accompanying Provider Fair which took place during the second half of the event. Featured were presentations from Marcie Mendelsohn and Sharon Ramey from Children’s Hospital regarding Educational and Vocational Planning and Judy Bertsch and Gary Biddle, discussing Hamilton County Developmental Disabilities Services and the Rehabilitation Services Commission, respectively.

Ohio Valley Goodwill is a co-sponsor of the Transition Boot Camp series and has been involved in the planning and implementation since the inception of the outreach training effort. “We are very grateful to the Down Syndrome Association for their leadership and the other agencies involved in coordinating this very important community education effort,” said Sharon Hannon, Marketing Specialist.
