Goodwill’s Employment Services team members were excited to be part of the 2017 Dreams Within Reach event in support of the Warren County Board of Developmental Disabilities on Saturday, June 17th. Held at Armco Park in Lebanon, the 7th annual event helps to support people with disabilities served by the Board in Warren County. Ohio Valley Goodwill was also pleased to be a sponsor for this year’s event which features a 10K run option, a 5K and a one mile walk. Team Goodwill chose to participate in the one mile walk option and was a Silver level sponsor. All team members had a wonderful time and were very glad to be able to be part of the annual event.

“Goodwill works collaboratively with the Warren County Board of DD on offering a number of programs and services for the individuals we mutually serve,” said Aimee Rittner, Assistant Director of Community-Based Services. “We have a small work training opportunity at our Lebanon store location as well as the ability to offer Job Placement and Coaching support; our Community Access program where we assist people to get involved in social activities of their choice as well as our Community Living Supports option which helps people with activities of daily living to enhance their independence.” To find out more about Goodwill’s CARF-Accredited programs and services, visit www.cincinnatigoodwill.org/services.
