Ohio Valley Goodwill Hosts Transformation-At-A Glance!

Ohio Valley Goodwill was pleased to be the host location for the final Transformation-At-A-Glance event in the month of March. Held on Thursday, March 29, 2018 from 10 am to noon at the organization’s corporate headquarters, the event welcomed interested participants from County Board partners as well as the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities.

The session focused specifically on Career Planning. The Career Planning programs developed by Goodwill are community based and allow for individual and team discovery, education, direction and planning. Services allow individuals to explore different environments, tasks and employers while developing an employment path with identified supports.

The Transformation-at-a-Glance series is a great opportunity for providers, county board staff, families, individuals, and other stakeholders, to network, ask questions, and discover great ideas on how to improve both services and lives. Ohio Valley Goodwill was proud to be included in the event locations for this important community outreach and education series.
