Ohio Valley Goodwill Grateful for the Support of Remke Markets for its Veterans Programs!

In a story that illustrates the giving nature of a business in the Greater Cincinnati community, Ohio Valley Goodwill wanted to publicly thank the Deli team at Remke Markets for their generous support of Goodwill’s programs and services for our military veterans this holiday season. For the second year in a row, Remke’s Deli team under the leadership of Ms. Robin Caslin has provided the veterans served through the organization’s transitional housing program, catered meals at significantly reduced prices. “The Remke Markets Deli team made sure that our military veterans were able to enjoy the Thanksgiving tradition like everyone else on this important holiday,” said Shane Satterfield, Veterans Services Case Manager. “Several of the Remke team members have family and friends that have served in the military and this is their way of expressing their appreciation for their service,” added Satterfield.

Each year, Ohio Valley Goodwill’s Veterans Services programs serve more than 700 men and women as well as their families and offer a comprehensive array of programs that include assistance with transitional and permanent housing, skill training, job placement assistance as well as case management support.
