Ohio Valley Goodwill is excited to celebrate and recognize National Thrift Shop Day on Saturday, August 17! By shopping at one of our 18 area Goodwill stores you can find a vast array of clothing, accessories, furniture and home décor for a fraction of the price. But our affordable and vintage finds aren’t the only unique thing about us: when you donate and shop at Ohio Valley Goodwill’s network of retail stores you do good for the Greater Cincinnati community.
More than sixty percent of the revenue from the sale of goods is used to provide community programs and support services such as digital skills training, employment, life enrichment as well as job coaching services for people who are struggling to find employment. Ohio Valley Goodwill provides opportunities for transition youth, people with disabilities and our nation’s veterans who are underrepresented in the labor market. Last year alone, Ohio Valley Goodwill helped more than 3500 people and placed 907 people into employment.
