Members of Ohio Valley Goodwill’s Transportation, Donations and Retail team were delighted to be part of the Grand Opening celebration of the new headquarters for e-Waste; the organization’s electronic recycling vendor. Located in Springdale, the state-of-the-art facility specializes in the de-manufacturing of computers and electronic equipment as well as the recycling of other discarded materials, successfully diverting them from area landfills. As a pioneer and steward of environmental preservation and responsible recycling, Ohio Valley Goodwill helps to recycle more than 42,000,000 lbs. of donated materials each year. For the past two years, Goodwill has been accepting computers and related electronic equipment for recycling purposes through its network of 29 Greater Cincinnati donation centers. The organization is pleased to now be working with eWaste Systems, Inc. on its electronics recycling efforts. Goodwill’s participation in the Grand Opening festivities of the new e-Waste facility helped to cement the new partnership in addressing the electronic recycling needs of the Greater Cincinnati community.

The new partnership between Goodwill and e-Waste Systems will soon become more visible to the larger community as the two organizations are working together to host the 1st ever “Goodwill Earth Day Electronic Recycling Celebration” on Sunday, April 27th from 12 noon to 6:00 pm at its 10600 Springfield Pike headquarters in the village of Woodlawn. The public  is encouraged to drop off unwanted computers, keyboards, mouse systems, monitors and other electronic equipment FREE of charge throughout the Recycling Celebration event. e-Waste Systems Inc. prides  itself  on providing safe, compliant and ethical e-waste disposal.
