"New Goodwill Mt. Washington Boutique and Donation Drive-Thru Opens"

After many months of planning and preparation a brand new Goodwill  Boutique and Drive-Thru  donation center opened to the public on Saturday, January 23rd.   The new facility located in the heart of Mt. Washington at 2234 Beechmont Avenue offers the best of clothing, fashion assessories, collectibles, housewares, childrens items, shoes, seasonal items and other excellent items that Goodwill stores have become known for in the Cincinnati  area!   The new store is open daily from 9:00 am to 8:30 pm, and on Sunday from  10:00 am  to 6:00 pm.   Donations are accepted during store hours.   “We are so excited to be a part of the Mt. Washington community and Goodwill was thrilled to have so many shoppers come to our grand opening,” said Sales Manager Ann Walters.   A gala ribbon cutting was held just before the doors opened to a rush of eager shoppers, many of whom have long anticipated the opening of the new store.   Helping to cut the ribbon announcing the “official” opening of the  boutique and donation center were Al Schultz and Mark Macomber of the Mt. Washington Business Association, Charlie Wright, Board Chairman of Goodwill Industries, Joe Byrum, Goodwill CEO, Gail Hana, Goodwill VP for Contributed Goods and many of the store staff who helped to prepare the  boutique for the opening. Goodwill is looking forward to the success of the new location and appreciates the support of the community of its mission and committment to recycling and its efforts to put people to work.   The sale of donated goods in Goodwill stores directly helps to support programs and services designed to assist men and women with disabilities, homeless veterans and others with barriers to employment.   Check out what’s new at our brand new Mt. Washington location!
