• A Sense of Belonging: We all want to feel like we’re a part of something, don’t we? Psychologists have actually found it’s a basic human need. Often times it’s more difficult for people with disabilities to find a place where they feel they belong. Through essential job skills training, job placement, and other employment services, Ohio Valley Goodwill creates an environment that is inclusive and unique to individuals with disabilities. We also help employers create and maintain their own inclusive workplaces.

• Self-Confidence Building: It’s an amazing feeling to help build people up through the power of work. When you support Goodwill, you do just that! Jobs provide a sense of self-worth, accomplishment, and confidence.
