The Visionaries and Voices studio in Northside was the place to be on August 4th as Nikki Martin’s fashion designs debuted as part of a show appropriately called “Fitted.” With a gallery filled with Martin’s fashion design drawings covering the walls, the studio provided the perfect backdrop for the fashion show that was to follow.

Martin has long been a featured artist at Visionaries and Voices as well as a participant in Ohio Valley Goodwill’s work and training programs. In 2009, Nikki’s designs were an integral part of the CARA-sponsored “What Matters Most” Fashion Show event; a standing-room only, sold-out show for which Goodwill was a major sponsor. Held in support of Hamilton County Developmental Disabilities Services; a long-time Goodwill partner; the 2009 “What Matter Most” fashion show served as the official public debut of Martin’s spectacular designs.

Goodwill is so pleased to be able to support Martin’s continued growth as an artist and fashion designer as well as to watch her continued achievements in self-determination and creating important social connections in the Greater Cincinnati community. Goodwill congratulates fashion designer and artist Nikki Martin on the success of her 2016 Fashion Show, “Fitted,” and wishes her future success in her artistic journey.
