Ohio Valley Goodwill was pleased to be featured as the Title Sponsor and a key speaker at the formal public launch of PigAbilities 2024. Hosted by Paycor, a major sponsor of the Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon, the kick-off event was held in partnership with Pig Works, the parent organization of the Marathon, to engage the larger Greater Cincinnati community in supporting PigAbilities 2024. PigAbilities is an event within the Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon which is designed to be fully accessible and welcoming to athletes of all abilities. This is the eighth year that Ohio Valley Goodwill has been the proud Title Sponsor for the PigAbilities event.
More than 40 different agencies, supporters and friends participated in the PigAbilities public launch event. After a brief breakfast and welcome, the Pig Works team shared information related to the history of PigAbilities, the specifics related to the 2024 event, fundraising opportunities, a video as well as questions and answers. The goal for PigAbilities this year is the involvement of at least 1000 athletes. 2024 marks the 26th anniversary of the Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon and as always there are many festivities and celebrations planned for this year’s Marathon weekend.
