Ohio Valley Goodwill is pleased to announce that the organization is partnering with the ShareFest organization for the 2015 donation event taking place May 13th-19th in the city of Oxford. The soon-to-be new Goodwill store location on Locust Street across from the Kroger store will serve as “donation central” for the ShareFest event this year.
The mission of ShareFest is as a service and environmental nonprofit corporation dedicated to the collection and redistribution of items donated by Miami University students and the Oxford community at the end of the academic year. Collected items are shared with local human service organizations and recycled responsibly as appropriate.
“Goodwill is so pleased to be working with Carol Michael and the city of Oxford on this important community event,” said Jeff Eastham, Operations Director. “We are also looking forward to opening our brand new Oxford store in the Fall of this year,” added Eastham. The new Goodwill store will offer a selection of fashion items geared towards both Miami University students as well as all members of the Oxford community. The Oxford Goodwill store will also feature a convenient drive-thru donation center when it opens.
