Goodwill Celebrates Memorial Day Weekend!

Memorial Day commemorates the men and women who died while in military service of their country, particularly those who died in battle or as a result of wounds sustained in battle. In other words, the purpose of Memorial Day is to memorialize the veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country. So, this Memorial Day, honor those in uniform with a uniform of your own when you shop apparel from Goodwill. Find prices so low, you’ll be eager to show off your celebration clothes and, of course, tell everyone you got it at Goodwill.

Camo ““ A perfect gesture to show your support for our military men and women is by wearing camo. So versatile, you can pair your camo with solid colors, denim, or even patterns and prints for a ” cute” Memorial Day salute.

Red, white & blue ““ Every heart beats true for the red, white, and blue, so showing your support for our troops in an American Flag inspired outfit this Memorial Day will undoubtedly be a home run at any backyard family gathering

Army Green/Khaki ““ Army green is not only the perfect color to celebrate the Memorial Day holiday. But it’s also a fantastic color to play around with color combinations to see if you’re able to find a new style neutral to have fun with.

The Memorial Day holiday is also the perfect time for us to share more about our Veterans program. Goodwill proudly participates in Cincinnati’s Homeless Veterans Reintegration Projects (HVRP). Qualified Veterans can find career planning, job placement, and housing assistance. In addition, residential programs, counseling, food, clothing, and monetary aid are also available again for those who qualify. Funding for Homeless Veterans programs also includes the Department of Labor and the Veterans Administration.
