No two Goodwills are exactly alike. Each Goodwill organization is different in terms of the way it operates and the types of programs it offers to the community. As part of Goodwill’s network of over 160 independent member agencies, Ohio Valley Goodwill is independently operated and funded. This allows us to offer a variety of services and programs that are tailored to meet the unique needs of those we serve in Greater Cincinnati and surrounding areas.

Goodwill is committed to reducing, reusing, and recycling

Goodwill is a strong supporter of the practice of reducing, reusing, and recycling throughout our entire organization. Every item you donate to Goodwill or purchase from a Goodwill retail store is one less item that ends up in a landfill, where it can take years to fully break down. Each year, Goodwill redirects more than 54 million pounds of reusable goods from landfills, including textiles, hard goods, paper, cardboard, steel, and electronic equipment.

The money raised at Ohio Valley Goodwill’s retail stores through the sale of donated goods is used to help fund job skills training and employment services for individuals with disabilities and veterans. Since 1916, Ohio Valley Goodwill has created pathways to success for thousands of individuals, helping them overcome barriers to employment, contribute to their communities, and lead more fulfilling lives.
