  • Referred by local County Boards of DD, Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (formerly known as the Ohio Rehabilitation Services Commission), Veteran’s Administration, Workers’ Compensation

Please note that our 2020 outcome measures were impacted by COVID-10. 2021 is a recovery year and we are delighted to welcome back our program participants as well as shoppers and donors.

Ohio Valley Goodwill helps thousands of individuals to find meaningful employment every year.
In 2020:

  • 2891 individuals received employment and training services
  • We served 405 veterans

With community support, Ohio Valley Goodwill generates revenue through three major business divisions to fund the mission.

  • Retail Stores ““ 19 convenient locations in the Greater Cincinnati area
  • Donations ““ 30 Attended Donation Centers (including stores)
  • Industrial Services  ““ provides business services to area employers

About Us:

As a member of Goodwill Industries International, we are a part of the world’s largest and most successful network providing employment and training services for people with disabilities and other barriers to employment.

Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries was founded in 1916 and is one of the largest providers of rehabilitation services in the State of Ohio. The total number of individuals served in 2020 was 2967    and total placed in community employment was 580.  We served 405 Veterans in 2020 and recycled more than  50,100,000 lbs of donated material as well as cardboard, steel and office paper.

The amount of government assistance that was saved was $2,923,200 and the total economic impact was $49,847,100.
