“Tis the Season of Goodwill from our friends to our veterans

Two ladies from the Blue Star Mothers of America organization brought gifts for the residents of Ohio Valley Goodwill’s veteran dorms to celebrate Veterans Day, Thursday November 11th. Including with the gifts, they also passed out letters from first graders to express their gratitude to the men and women who served.

Then today, November 15th, members of the Diabetes / Obesity Educator group at Novo Nordisk surprised the residents with donuts and coffee as well as gift baskets.

We are grateful for their kindness and support of our veterans and its programs as last year alone, Ohio Valley Goodwill served over 400 veterans.  For over 30 years, Ohio Valley Goodwill has provided The Bridge Model Grant Per Diem program where veterans are able to stay up to 90 days in its dormitory as they transition out of homelessness.
