Ohio Valley Goodwill Receives $1.4M Grant to Serve Veterans and their Families.

Ohio Valley Goodwill is pleased to announce that the organization was just awarded $1.4 million grant from the Veterans Administration and specifically, Supportive Services for Veterans Families (SSVF) to serve 420 lo-income veterans and their families in Hamilton County over the three year period of the grant. The new SSVF grant will augment the services that Goodwill is currently providing to 300 veterans and their families in seven counties in Ohio and Northern Kentucky. Assistance to veterans and their families includes: career planning, job placement, housing support, health care access, transportation, and personal financial planning.

Ohio Valley Goodwill has been providing programs and services to help our military veterans in the Greater Cincinnati community for more than 20 years and is honored that the Veterans Administration has chosen the organization to expand its vitally needed services. ” We look forward to the opportunity to enhance our services to veterans and their families in the Hamilton County area,” said Bill Darnell, Grants Manager.
