Ohio Valley Goodwill Named 2019 “Best Workplace in Ohio” by Ohio Business Magazine!

Ohio Valley Goodwill was delighted to learn that the organization has been named one of the 2019 “Best Workplaces in Ohio” by Ohio Business Magazine. The editors note that the award selection is based on a number of factors but most notably, it is based on where a “worker feels valued.” The editors further explain that in selecting the “winners of Ohio Business Magazine’s fourth annual “Best Workplaces in Ohio” feature, we found that there are many companies that are making their employees feel that way, and that they are finding creative ways to do so.” Ohio Valley Goodwill was selected in the category of companies with more than 200 employees in the Nonprofit designation on page 32 of the issue. Ohio Valley Goodwill’s ad is prominently located on page 38 and notes that “Ohio Valley Goodwill is honored to be a 2019 Best Workplaces in Ohio award winner presented by Ohio Business Magazine.”

For more than a century, Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries has been providing employment and training services for individuals with disabilities and our nation’s veterans, serving more than 3500 people last year and helping 907 to obtain jobs in the Greater Cincinnati community.
