Thursday, October 22th marked the date for the 2009 Fall Conference sponsored by the Butler County Board of Developmental Disabilities. This year’s event was held on the campus of Miami University in Hamilton. Ohio Valley Goodwill was featured as a presenter and exhibitor at the 2009 Conference which welcomed interested Butler County residents. Goodwill’s Recreation and Leisure program was showcased in two different presentations provided by Aimee Rittner, Supervisor.
“Ohio Valley Goodwill is always happy to have the opportunity to provide information about its many programs and services to individuals and their families,” said Sharon Hannon, Marketing Specialist. Attendees at this year’s conference were able to learn more Goodwill’s Butler County Recreation and Leisure program which offers individualized community access and exploration as well as it’s Fairfield Vocational Services Center.
Currently, Ohio Valley Goodwill provides services to more than 100 Butler County residents through its Work Training and Recreation/Leisure programs.
