It’s Veterans Day, and at Ohio Valley Goodwill, we’re taking this timely opportunity to honor members of the armed services who have sacrificed so much to protect our country. With around 20 million veterans living in the United States and many more returning home each day, Veterans Day serves as an important reminder to salute our nation’s heroes and support them as they reintegrate into civilian life.

How Goodwill helps our heroes on the homefront
On Veterans Day and every day, Goodwill is dedicated to helping our military heroes and their families. We recognize that the battle wounds veterans experience are often physical, mental, and emotional, and many times these issues affect their ability to transition back to life as a civilian. For thousands of veterans, a significant barrier to success in civilian life is finding and securing meaningful employment. That’s why, for 100+ years, Ohio Valley Goodwill has worked with veterans in the Greater Cincinnati area, helping them build their civilian careers so they can become fully reintegrated into our local community.
Ohio Valley Goodwill is proud to participate in programs that assist veterans with career planning, skills training, job placement, and finding safe, affordable housing. Our goal is to help local veterans find full-time employment so they can achieve personal and vocational success and stability.
