Goodwill Proudly Displays Levy Sign in Support of CCBDD!

CCBDD Replacement Levy SignOhio Valley Goodwill’s Eastside Vocational Services Center in Batavia is one of the host locations for a large yard sign in support of the Clermont County Board of Developmental Disabilities upcoming levy on the ballot on March 15th. The large sign is one of several that Goodwill is exhibiting at several of its Clermont locations as the Spring levy rapidly approaches.

Goodwill has worked in partnership with the Clermont County Board of Developmental Disabilities for many years in offering employment and training programs for the individuals that the organizations mutually serve. “We have about 40 people that we work with currently at our Eastside location,” said Paula Smith, Goodwill Supervisor. “As such, we are very familiar with how important this levy is for everyone we support,” added Smith.

It is important to note the following critical information about the March levy:

  • Replacement of the current.4 and 1 mill levies originally passed in
    1979 and 1980.
  • Provides services to people with severe disabilities.
  • Provides 60% of the agency’s funding.
  • 400 people are currently on the waiting list for services.
  • Vote YES on Issue 5!
