Ohio Valley Goodwill’s corporate headquarters was a beehive of activity the morning of October 9th as a film crew moved in to shoot the organization’s new television commercials. Many of the “actors” for the 2013 spots are individuals that participate in the Goodwill’s training, CARE (Center for Advocacy, Recreation and Education), Veterans Services and Job Coaching programs. Some of this year’s “actors” were involved in previous television shoots and enjoyed the experience of “starring” once again in the commercials. In addition, to the main “stars,” Public Information Officer, Michael Flannery; Board Member and spokesperson, Joe Walter; Olympian and Goodwill volunteer, Julie Isphording and Scott Sloan, WLW media personality, all played a role in this year’s commercial spots. I & EYE Productions is producing the spots and enjoyed the opportunity to interact with the Goodwill “actors.” The series of commercials will begin airing later this Fall and will include Mission spots as well as appeals for the organization’s Auto Auction.
