Ready to Wear.
Ready to Play.
Prepared with care so you can shop with confidence
Made for more than one childhood
Kids grow fast—and their clothes go through a lot.
By giving garments the care they need, we help ensure they’re ready to wear, comfortable, and made to last—so you can shop with confidence for your family.
And when clothes stay in use longer, they stay out of landfills—creating a meaningful impact with every purchase.

How it works
The products behind the process
Select garments are cleaned and refreshed using Tide & Downy products designed to remove dirt and odors, and leave a light fresh scent on fabrics.

Impact in action
Beyond the clothes
Creating Opportunity Through Care
This work does more than prepare clothing—it helps prepare people.
Garments are sorted, pre-treated, cleaned, and readied for the floor as part of a hands-on process that supports individuals in Goodwill’s programs.
Participants gain real-world experience in:
- Sorting and quality evaluation
- Garment care and handling
- Workflow and teamwork
These are transferable skills that help individuals build confidence and move toward employment.
Because at Goodwill, we don’t just see potential in clothing—we see it in people.

The Bigger Impact
More Wear. More Good.
When clothing stays in use longer, it creates more value—for people and for the planet.
By restoring garments that need extra care, we’re able to extend their life, reduce waste, and create more opportunity through every item that’s worn again.
- Keeps usable clothing out of landfills
- Extends the life of everyday essentials
- Supports job training and community programs
