As individuals, Earth Day is an opportunity for us to think about how our actions impact the planet and what we can do to reduce our global footprint.

As an original supporter of the Reduce, Reuse, Recycle movement, we recycle millions of pounds of donated products each year, diverting them from local landfills. We believe that every day can be Earth Day, and anyone can make a difference!

Here are some easy ways YOU can protect the planet on Earth Day and every day:

• Reduce single-use plastic waste by switching to reusable silverware, straws, water bottles, and bags. You can find many affordable options at your local Goodwill store!

• Reuse by buying gently-used clothing, accessories, home décor, books, and more from Goodwill! Thrift shopping is one of the best ways to shop, save, and live more sustainably. With a constant flow of donated goods, Goodwill always has a great selection of items for you to discover.

• Recycle your unwanted clothing and household items by donating them to Goodwill instead of throwing them away. When you donate Goodwill, you can be confident that your items will be reused and repurposed by someone else rather than clogging local landfills!
