After a full month of indoor training, the men and women preparing for PigAbilities, a portion of the Flying Pig Marathon devoted to individuals with disabilities, are ready to head outside. This Saturday is the first day of outdoor training for PigAbilities. Ohio Valley Goodwill is a proud supporter of the PigAbilities training event and individuals with disabilities throughout Cincinnati. Every clothing donation in Cincinnati (and all other donations too) enables empowering events like this, job training, advocacy and more.

Ohio Valley Goodwill congratulates the CARA Group on sponsoring PigAbilities and helping to integrate individuals with disabilities into the world of fitness as well as the 2014 Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon. Moreover, we congratulate the incredible athletes taking part in the run. They have been working hard for weeks, and we can’t wait to see what they can do when they get to work this Saturday at the Theodore M. Berry International Friendship Park.

We invite everyone to support these dedicated men and women on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 1:00 as they take to the streets to show Cincinnati what their hard work has made possible. Please remember, however, that individuals with disabilities are overcoming challenges every day. By shopping at Goodwill and donating your clothes, automobiles and electronics, you make a difference in their lives and the lives of many others in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.
