Store Receives Full "Face-Lift"!
After two weeks of renovations and a complete remodel, Ohio Valley Goodwill's Oakley retail store was re-opened with much fanfare and an excited crowd of shoppers on Saturday, March 1st. The store celebrated the re-opening complete with a clown who advertised the special day by waving to shoppers at the busy corner.
In only a short period of time, walls were built, a complete new floor was installed and the store received new interior mission signage. "We were so happy to see how our customers welcomed the new environment for the store and drive-up donation center. The store is exceeding all of our expectations," said Ann Walters, Sales Manager for Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries.
The Oakley retail store is one of fourteen stores in Ohio Valley Goodwill's network of stores. Retail sales and donations help to support Goodwill's very important mission of providing vocational training and support services for men and women with disabilities and programs to assist homeless veterans. Sales in Ohio Valley Goodwill stores helps to provide the income needed to offer programs and services for individuals with disabilities, homeless veterans and others with barriers to employment.
