Recreation Leisure Program

Monthly Activity Calendar March 2012 (pdf) February 2012 (pdf)

This new community-oriented program offers individuals served through the Butler and Hamilton County Boards of Developmental Disabilities, the opportunity to participate in activities of their choice throughout the Greater Cincinnati area. Supports offered include:

• Transportation (one on one service provided by certified drivers)
• Coordination of all recreational outing details
• Staff support and assistance (based on individualized needs)
• Individualized community access and exploration based on choice

Examples of community outings include: Concerts, Horseback Riding, Festivals, King’s Island, Movies, Shopping, Park Visits, Zoo, Museums, and the Newport Aquarium.

If interested in exploring this Goodwill service option, please contact your Support Coordinator with either the Hamilton or Butler County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
