Ohio Valley Goodwill Team Attends 2017 Medical Mutual Community Pillar Awards!

community-pillar-awards-artwork-2017Wednesday, January 11th marked the occasion of the 2017 Medical Mutual Community Pillar Awards and Ohio Valley Goodwill team members were pleased to be in attendance. Jeff Eastham, Operations Director and Todd Schreiber, Industrial Services Marketing Specialist were part of this year’s spectacular annual event held at the Duke Energy Center. The Pillar Award for Community Service was developed by Smart Business and Medical Mutual to honor businesses and individuals dedicated to making Cincinnati a better place to live. The program is designed to demonstrate the tie between the for-profit and nonprofit worlds and showcase best practices.

Ohio Valley Goodwill has been selected as an honoree at past Medical Mutual Awards events in 2016, 2014 and 2012 in the categories of “Nonprofit Board Executive of the Year” as well as “Nonprofit Executive Director of the Year.” Each of these occasions offered the organization the opportunity to share its mission of service with the large audience in attendance as well as through SmartBusiness magazine.

The 2017 Community Pillar Awards event provided Goodwill representatives the chance to meet and network with business leaders in both the for-profit and nonprofit worlds. “It’s always a wonderful event and Ohio Valley Goodwill was honored to be included as a guest at the 2017 Community Pillar Awards celebration,” said Jeff Eastham. “Goodwill is proud of its more than 100 year commitment to putting people to work in the Greater Cincinnati community and always looks forward to the chance to share our story,” added Eastham.
