Ohio Valley Goodwill is proud to be a major sponsor of the 2016 ShareFest event providing the donation trailers, attendants to assist throughout the drive as well as to help with pick-up services. The ShareFest donation drive is designed to help students to recycle responsibly their unwanted items during the annual move out week. By partnering with ShareFest students can help the environment by donating good quality furniture, clothing, appliances, food, and housewares to benefit local nonprofit organizations. ShareFest is an annual donation drive that prevents usable items from going to the landfill by directing them to social service agencies and nonprofit organizations from around the Oxford area. ShareFest is an easy way for Miami University students to help the environment and assist people in need.

ShareFest 2016 donations will benefit Butler County Children Services, Butler County Success – Talawanda, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati, Lighthouse Food Pantry, Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries, Oxford Community Choice Pantry, Preble County Habitat for Humanity, and Student Veterans Association at Miami University.

Volunteer opportunities are available on the ShareFest website at www.sharefestoxford.com and volunteers are urgently needed in support of this year’s event. ShareFest is a collaborative effort sponsored by the City of Oxford, Miami University, nonprofit organizations, social service agencies, local businesses, and religious organizations.
