Ohio Valley Goodwill Honors Our Veterans During Independence Day Celebrations!

Fireworks 4th of July 2016Independence Day is a time for celebration and to enjoy some summer fun. It is a unique opportunity to acknowledge our country’s great history, while also spending quality time with friends and family. Independence Day and its rich history are celebrated by parades, fireworks, patriotic displays, ceremonies and family barbeques.

At Ohio Valley Goodwill, the 4th of July holiday is particularly meaningful as it marks another opportunity to salute our nation’s veterans who have bravely served our country. During its 100 year legacy of service to the Greater Cincinnati community, Ohio Valley Goodwill has helped thousands of our military men and women to attain personal success both through employment, permanent housing as well as reintegration. “It is our privilege to serve our military veterans and to salute their heroism during this patriotic time as well as every day of the year,” said Charlie Blythe, Grants Director.
