Ohio Valley Goodwill Honored with 2015 Best of Cincinnati Award!
Ohio Valley Goodwill is thrilled to announce that it is the recipient of the 2015 ” Best of Cincinnati” award in the category of Vintage Thrift Clothing store from CityBeat Magazine! This is the 6th time in recent years that Goodwill’s network of 15 retail stores has been singled out for the prestigious honor. The CityBeat awards reflect the votes of their readership as well as their editorial staff team and Goodwill is honored to be selected for the 2015 ” Best of Cincinnati” award.
The evening of Wednesday, April 1st marked the official announcement of this year’s winners and celebration of the CityBeat awards. Goodwill retail team members enjoyed the opportunity to interact with the other attendees at the ” Best of Cincinnati” party held this year at the Horseshoe Casino. This year’s awardees enjoyed delicious foods, the music of local musicians, and the various performers that brought lots of excitement to the major Cincinnati event. More than 1200 people were in attendance at the sold-out 2015 CityBeat ” Best of Cincinnati” awards celebration this year.

Goodwill has 15 retail stores and boutiques throughout the Greater Cincinnati community and annually welcomes more than a million shoppers to the award-winning locations. ” We could not be more proud of our retail team members,” said Ann Walters, Retail Sales Manager. ” Our team works very hard to make our stores fun, welcoming and full of amazing selections of both new and vintage items for our wonderful shoppers,” added Walters. Proceeds from items sold in Goodwill’s network of stores are sold to support the organization’s mission of putting people with disabilities and our nation’s veterans to work in the Greater Cincinnati community. Last year, Goodwill helped almost 1000 people get jobs thanks to the support of Greater Cincinnati shoppers and donors.
