Ohio Valley Goodwill Celebrates the “Unofficial” Opening of New Harrison Store!

The morning of Friday, September 18th marked the “unofficial” grand opening of Ohio Valley Goodwill’s newest retail store, it’s Harrison store. Built on the same site as its previous store, the new Harrison store is larger, brighter and just filled with everything that savvy shoppers might be looking for. The store features a large display floor, the latest in Fall fashion as well as housewares and select furniture items. In addition, the new Harrison store offers a convenient drive-thru donation center that makes de-cluttering and donating easier than ever. “At Ohio Valley Goodwill, we are so thrilled that we are able to bring this brand new store to the Harrison community. Our loyal shoppers have been eagerly awaiting this day and it is wonderful to be able to open the doors and share all the new things that we have to offer them,” said Ann Walters, Retail Sales Manager.

The September soft opening will be followed with an “official” Grand Opening later in the Fall which will feature all of the bells and whistles of a traditional Goodwill Grand Opening event with a ribbon cutting, special sales, a grill-out and more. Watch for upcoming announcements about the official Grand Opening event. In the meantime, be one of the first to visit the brand new Harrison Goodwill store located at 1110 Harrison Avenue and take advantage of all the great bargains on display.

It is also important for shoppers and donors to remember that supporting Goodwill helps put people with disabilities and our nation’s veterans to work in the Greater Cincinnati community. Last year alone, proceeds from Goodwill stores allowed the organization to serve more than 3,400 individuals and help almost 1000 to get jobs in the local area. The other great part about making a donation to Goodwill, is that you know that you are choosing to recycle responsibly. The organization helps to recycle more than 45,000,000 lbs. of donated product each year diverting items from area landfills.
