“Ohio Valley Goodwill Mourns the Loss of Long-time Board Member”
Ohio Valley Goodwill was saddened by the loss of one of its longest serving board members, Mr. Donald Spencer, on May 5th. A long-time community activist and a member of the organization’s board of directors since 1966, Spencer was known for his civil rights efforts as well as his volunteerism. As an active, committed member of Goodwill’s board of directors, Spencer was instrumental in the recent renovation of the organization’s corporate headquarters as well as its on-growing growth and expansion over the past 44 years.
“We are deeply saddened by the loss of Donald Spencer from our board of directors,” said Joe Byrum, President and CEO. “Our sympathies are with his wife and family,” added Byrum.
