In addition, before the featured game of the week, the school selects “Goodwill Scholar Athletes of the Week” to be recognized. At Saturday’s exciting game, two more “Goodwill Scholar Athletes of the Week” were announced: Mr. Bryce Wade and Mr. Ian Dew.

This is the second year that Ohio Valley Goodwill and STAR64 have worked together on the Goodwill High School Donation Drive and are excited about this year’s games and athletes.

During the week before the game, Newport Central Catholic High School and Conner High School and their students, families and teachers collected more than 1200 pounds of donations to benefit Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries and its 100 year old mission of putting people with disabilities and our nation’s veterans to work in our community.

Our most sincere congratulations to Bryce Wade and Ian Dew as well as Newport Central Catholic High School and Conner High School for being such wonderful examples of sharing good will in our community.
