Goodwill Employment Services Can Open Doors Through Job Coaching

job-supports-main2Ohio Valley Goodwill’s employment services team is making an impact in Cincinnati through its commitment to helping individuals with disabilities participate in their communities. We believe that employment provides unique benefits, and we go the extra mile to ensure meaningful employment is available to as many people as possible. Employers may have concerns about the effect hiring an individual with disabilities could have on their productivity. However, Goodwill employment services has decades of experience forming rewarding partnerships between Cincinnati businesses and those we serve.

Under certain circumstances, new employees with disabilities may receive onsite job coaching and training from Ohio Valley Goodwill. Job coaches from employment services have helped Cincinnati businesses adjust to new employees by assisting with training, finding reliable transportation, punctuality, dependability and worksite modifications. Job coaches work with employees to help them meet performance and quality standards, and help employers by acting as an informational resource. The assistance job coaches can provide reflects the needs of the new employee as well as the employer and is decided on a case-by-case basis.  Ohio Valley Goodwill is proud of its history of achievement in helping both employers and new employees to experience success in the workplace.
