Shaker Run Golf Club was the location for Ohio Valley Goodwill's 6th annual golf outing held June 15th. This year's event attracted over 200 players and celebrity guests who enjoyed the beautiful weather, delicious fare and of course, annual award ceremony. Making this year's event possible were title sponsor, MVD Communications, lunch sponsor Village Pantry Catering, Hole-in-One sponsor Terry Lee Chevrolet, Holthaus Signs, Hooter's, Janet Tittle photography, and the Kroger Company. Celebrity guests included radio host Mike McConnell, Bengal alumni including Jim Breech, WCPO news anchor David Rose and channel 19 weatherman Rich Apuzzo. Led by honorary chairperson Joe Walter, celebrity participation helped to generate over $30,000 in proceeds to benefit the individuals served through Goodwill's programs and services. "It's always a good time for a good cause," said Walter.
